Jenny Wheeler is a historical mystery author, podcaster and former magazine and newspaper editor who was recognized with a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Magazine Publisher's Association in 2018. Her ten book mystery series Of Gold & Blood series is set in Gilded Age California, and she is now hard at work on the third book in a spin off Home At Last series. She chats with other series authors in mystery, historical, thriller, and romance genres for her fortnightly Joys of Binge Reading podcast. Jenny is totally blessed in the beautiful places she is lucky enough to live and work in northern New Zealand. She splits her working days between an Auckland home perched on the upper harbor with views of panoramic sunsets, and a classic 1975 Sprite Major caravan perched on a slice of Coromandel paradise overlooking Mercury Bay, Whitianga. When not writing, she loves getting out in nature, gardening, has recently taken up bee keeping, and of course, is busy reading the books of the authors she is about to chat to on her podcast.
