Jere Silber is an accomplished writer, producer, and director of several productions on cable television. He is an award-winning camera operator for his work on News Counterpoint. He won a Monty Award in 1999 for writing, producing, and directing a video based on his children’s book, Tree Story. Tree Story was his first published children’s book. The audiobook version of Tree Story was in the Spoken Word category of the 44th Grammy Awards. Jere won his second Monty award in 2001 for producing Mister Word Wizard, a television show for children starring Richie Havens. He authored his second children’s book in 2014. Up in the Sky was written to commemorate the birth of his first granddaughter, Skylar. Together is his most recently published children’s book. It debuted on Amazon on December 6, 2022. His latest project is Little Brother. It is a new book for children in honor of his grandson, Ryder who was born on April 3, 2023.
