Jeremy Clift is a science fiction author and former international journalist whose novels explore how humanity's expansion into space could transform what it means to be human.

His Sci-Fi Galaxy series follows humanity beyond Earth through genetic engineering, artificial intelligence, lunar industry, corporate ambition, and the growing struggle over who controls the technologies shaping our future.

Born in Space: Unlocking Destiny asks what happens when humans begin creating children for life beyond Earth. Space Vault: The Seed Eclipse moves the story to the Moon, where control of genetic resources raises a more fundamental question: Who owns life? In Space Shield: The Wrath of the Sun, the stakes become planetary as humanity races to build a defense against a catastrophic solar storm.

Together, the novels trace an expanding set of questions: Who creates life? Who owns life? Who protects life?

A reader of Adrian Tchaikovsky, Cixin Liu, Andy Weir, and Martha Wells, Clift is particularly interested in how space exploration, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies could reshape human society over the next two centuries. His fiction combines scientifically grounded speculation with questions about family, identity, power and humanity's future beyond Earth.

Before turning to fiction, Clift worked as an international news correspondent for Reuters and in magazines and institutional publishing, becoming a nonfiction publisher, communications consultant, and writing coach. A graduate of the London School of Economics and George Washington University, he has lived and worked in cities around the world, including Beijing, Bombay, Cairo, New Delhi, Jakarta, London, Manila, Paris and Washington, D.C.

His nonfiction work has included interviews and profiles of leading economists and policymakers, including Nobel laureates Daniel Kahneman and Vernon Smith, and he has edited books and collections on economics, globalization, development, and public policy.
