Jimmy Scroggins serves as the Lead Pastor of Family Church, a growing family of neighborhood churches across South Florida, where he has led since July 2008. Under his leadership, Family Church has become known for its commitment to gospel-centered teaching, leadership development, and its passion for reaching every person in every neighborhood.

Jimmy and his wife, Kristin, are the proud parents of eight children and grandparents to an ever-growing number of grandchildren. Before joining Family Church, Jimmy served as the Teaching Pastor at Highview Baptist Church and as a Professor of Youth Ministry and Evangelism at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and Boyce College in Louisville, Kentucky. He also served as Dean of Boyce College from 2004 to 2008.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Jacksonville University and both a Master of Divinity and Ph.D. from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
