I have been traditionally and self-published with books released by the former Warner Books, Kensington, and indie companies under my own name and pseudonyms. Once and Always (written as Alyssa Deane), was translated and sold in various European countries. I self-publish the Connor Falls Christmas series as Robin Maderich. I write the Shadow Journey series as Jo Allen Ash. The series is my published debut as a YA author. The books in the series have been called compelling, imaginative, magical, and skillful, stellar storytelling. In the series, I burrow down into dark themes such as addiction, hopelessness and loss, countered by the strength and unexpected sweetness of forged friendships. The first three books in the series are The Shadows We Make, The Thrice-Gifted Child and The Sleeping Myth. Book four, In Darkness We Break, is coming this Spring (2024).
