Joe Caracci is a safety and organizational risk consultant with more than two decades of experience working inside healthcare, senior living, human services, manufacturing, utilities, and other high-pressure workplaces. He has conducted thousands of department-level audits and more than 10,000 employee interviews following workplace injuries, giving him a firsthand view of how pressure, culture, leadership, and work design shape decisions before problems become visible.

His work focuses on helping leaders understand why recurring problems persist despite good intentions, training, and policies—and how workplaces can be designed to give people more space to think, speak honestly, and make better decisions.

Joe is the author of DRIFT: How Even Good Workplaces Lose the Space to Think. He has presented at state and national conferences for more than 20 years and is the founder of Monarch Risk Management, co-founder of Monarch Pathways, and co-owner of the Center for Applied Research in Dementia. His work spans organizational risk, employee engagement, leadership development, and workplace culture.
