Joe Evener began playing with the idea of writing in 4th grade. He wrote his first story, a superhero story in class. Next, he began taking writing serious creating poetry and a cowboy adventure inspired by Clint Eastwood's spaghetti westerns, during his junior and senior year. In his twenties, he wrote two comedic screenplays: "A Twist of Fate," and "The Boys in the Mailroom." A Twist of Fate was being looked at by a local company before it went under. Both stories have since been lost. He now has five published books: the first four of his YA fantasy series, "The Heart of Seras" which includes "Journey to Seras," "The Elders," "Revelation," and "The Dark Warrior." Journey to Seras and The Elders are both available as an audiobook. His fifth book is a self-published poetry book, "Love, Pain, and Other Things." He has two more finished titles: "The Witches of Wickerville," a middle grade fantasy story; and "Seducing Bronwyn," an adult fiction story. He is currently writing a murder/thriller, "The Lies We Tell." Joe and Bronwen have two sons, Joey and Jacob. Jacob has two sons, Jake and Jamison. They currently live in Marengo, Ohio.
