Joe Onisick is the founder of Define the Cloud and an Executive Level IT veteran. Onisick has 20 years of IT experience spanning a broad range of disciplines, starting with server/network administration. From 2000-2005, Onisick was a US Marine, where he served in a number of roles focused on repairing electronics and managing electro-optical repair facilities. Today, Onisick’s expertise focuses on driving technology agility by blending technology with the people and processes that tie into it. He believes that choosing the right hardware, software, or platforms isn't even half of the battle. Onisick is a frequent presenter at technology conferences and exposes worldwide. Some of these include VMworld, Cisco Live, and Puppet Conf. He regularly leads workshops, panels and sessions on how to best align technology with business objectives and drive proven results. In the past Onisick has maintained a guest blog at Network Computing and wrote in-depth reports on various emerging data center and cloud topics for InformationWeek.
