John D. Meade (PhD, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary) is Professor of Old Testament at Phoenix Seminary and the author of several books, articles, and chapters. His new, co-authored book, Scribes and Scripture: The Amazing Story of How We Got the Bible (Crossway 2022) narrates the story of the Bible for all curious readers about the history of the Book. He has also co-authored The Biblical Canon Lists from Early Christianity: Texts and Analysis (Oxford 2017) and authored A Critical Edition of the Hexaplaric Fragments of Job 22-42 (Peeters 2020). For fun, he enjoys a good hike in a National Park.
