Away from his Mac, John spends time taking photos and chasing after Emma, his 18-month-old daughter. He grew up on the county line north of Parker, S.D., where his mom taught him how to grow a successful small business and his dad taught him how to fix anything from broken fences to sprained ankles. John earned a degree in Journalism from South Dakota State University and is always tuned in to NPR.
