Joe Atinsky is an author, educator, and ministry leader whose work explores trauma, healing, identity, discipleship, and the purpose that can emerge from broken places. He began writing to remember his own story, but eventually realized it was never his to keep.

He is the author of The Mess of Me: Pain, Rejection, and the Fight to Be Whole, its sequel Out of the Mess: Where Healing Leads, and Not Perfect, But Published: The Other Side Is Right in Front of You, a practical guide for first-time authors. Through memoir and personal-growth resources, Joe writes for readers standing in the wreckage of their past who need evidence that their lives are not over.

Joe and his wife, Wendy, lead JW Atinsky Holdings with a shared vision: Restoring Purpose. Advancing the Kingdom. Their work brings together stories, food, and partnerships that nourish lives and strengthen Kingdom-minded organizations. Joe also serves through worship, recovery ministry, discipleship, and education. He is currently developing new projects centered on spiritual growth, restored purpose, and lives poured out in service to others.
