Since a young age, Julie has always had a love of reading books of any kind and writing stories. Despite managing chronic illness since childhood, she has never let the obstacles she faced stop her from achieving what she wants to do. She has always had an ambition to be a published author and through this book has realised that dream. Since retiring from a teaching career of 33 years, Julie has learnt Tai Chi and enjoys spending time in her garden, swimming, cooking, watercolor painting and of course, reading and writing daily. She has two grown children and two grandchildren of which she is immensely proud. Julie and her beloved husband of many years, currently share a home in a country town in Queensland Australia with an elderly dog and 3 chickens with very unique personalities.
