Born and raised in Kentucky, Julie's first written story was discovered by her mother before she started kindergarten. The discovered "story" was published in squiggled blue crayon on an off-white wall hidden behind the dining room draperies. Current publications include two children stories: SNOWBALL is a short chapter book written for reading levels first through fourth grade. It is about a little girl's concern for her grandparents new puppy. She is encouraged to problem solve and find a solution. BAD DREAM, an illustrated picture book, is about overcoming fear.
