Hi! Welcome to my Author Page! First of all, you might be wondering who is Kevin Boyle? Kevin Boyle is a very happily married, proud father, loving, dedicated husband, and Canadian Author living in Chilliwack, BC., (a small city just outside of Vancouver, BC., Canada). When I speak to friends, family, and other parents, I have found that most, like my wife and I, are very concerned about the world our sons and daughters are growing up in. With that in mind, I wanted to write a book that would help prepare all of our daughters for the trials and tribulations of modern life, peer pressure, love, dating, and relationships. To help them succeed in dating, relationships, and in meeting a high-quality man who would make a fantastic husband and father, a man who will love, cherish, respect, and devote his life to them and their relationship. So I felt compelled to write this book for my daughter to help her better understand and to help her navigate life's chaotic waters. Because let’s be completely honest, dating, relationships, and “situationships” have all become very confusing and dare I say messy for our youth. Where most girls are under constant pressure to look a certain way, even though we know a lot of those pictures have been photoshopped, creating impossible standards for women to live up to, and where they are constantly getting conflicting messages from social media about what it means to be a modern-day empowered woman. Where boys are easily influenced through underground communities, porn sites, and hip-hop songs to be more gangster, or by diminishing and degrading women. Written from a loving father's perspective for his daughter, this book is intended for heterosexual women of all ages and is meant to earn a place on all of our daughter's bookshelves. It aims to assist them through all the stages of their lives, addressing some of life's big questions concerning dating, sex, and having loving successful relationships. To that end, I hope you enjoy the book! I was very careful to try to write a book that any parent would be proud to give to their son or daughter to read. (Because yes, there is a lot of great stuff in this book for all men or women regardless of their age!) Because I do realize that we live in a society, where everyone has very different opinions and beliefs around dating, sex, and marriage. Where your life experience and religious and non-religious values are probably vastly different than mine. That is to be expected. Therefore, it is almost impossible for any one person to write a book about dating and sex, that everyone will agree on. So please keep in mind, when reading and reviewing this book. I am doing my best to try to respect all cultures, all beliefs, and all values, and trying to do my best to be a good dad. I put my heart and my soul into it, not just for my daughter, but for all of our daughters! So please enjoy! Note: My email address can be found in the back of the book. And yes!
