Karen Haase lives in North Yorkshire with her husband, four children and dog. Karen has been working in the optical industry for over 30 years as a Dispensing Optician and practice owner with her Optometrist husband Garrey. Writing was never on her list of goals. Eyewear, playing netball, juggling children and business were her passions for many years. Riding the rollercoaster of life, she turned to writing in the middle of the night and suddenly found it cathartic. Reading the next morning and feeling like someone else had written the pages, turning her negatives into positives, suddenly a story and new passion began.
