Karen Rinaldi has enjoyed suckitude at many things before she found surfing, among them skiing, horseback riding, boxing, running, and roller-blading. The rest of the time, she’s worked in the publishing industry where she is currently the publisher of Harper Wave, an imprint she founded in 2012. Her first novel, The End of Men, was the basis for the 2016 feature film Maggie’s Plan, directed by Rebecca Miller and starring Julianne Moore, Greta Gerwig and Ethan Hawke. She lives in New York and New Jersey with her family. She’s far from perfect, and not working on it. If you’re curious, you can find out more at krinaldi.com.
