One in four young people lives with or has an addicted parent. If you have a "loved one" that struggles with addiction or if you are struggling with addiction and you would like to be interviewed about your story, please be in touch with the author. She would like to share people's stories as "personal journey" on a (soon to be published) blog and podcast entitled "The Forgotten Ones."

The mission of A Blossoming Life Education Charity is to promote personal growth through leadership, collaboration, inquiry, and book study of biblio-therapeutic literature. Our organization is working to provide thousands of young people with the opportunity to participate in our programs and read and engage in the literature study of the novel, Out of Control. Out of Control is the first in The Forgotten One's series. Literature Study participants will learn about the disease of addiction and many resources that are available for those that have an addicted loved one or those that are at-risk for substance abuse.

Participants that engage in the literature study will have multiple opportunities for discourse, role-play, inquiry and interactive group discussions that will not only deepen their understanding of literature, but of the addictive process.
