Katherine Crowe is a Wisconsin-based author of fantasy romance, rom-com, and romantic suspense. After years of working as a paralegal for an appeals and litigation attorney, she found herself dreaming of fantastical worlds far, far away from the legal briefs and affidavits she worked on. With the technical aspect of writing honed from these years of legal writing, editing, and proofing, she decided to take pen to paper and bring these worlds (and her writing) to life. And thus, the kingdom of Valeria and the Season of Souls romantasy quartet were born. The journey to publishing Fangs Divide Us began on Kickstarter in June 2025. The campaign drew the attention of Kickstarter's editorial team, featuring Fangs Divide Us in their July 10, 2025, edition of New and Trending and awarding it Project We Love. Upon its close on July 15, 2025, the campaign was funded at 2308% of its original goal.
