Kathy Leonard is the editorial director for Church Initiative, the organization that created GriefShare, DivorceCare, DivorceCare for Kids, and Single & Parenting. She has been writing and editing for over twenty years and is a graduate of the University of Maryland Asian Division. She is coauthor of Through a Season of Grief: Devotions for Your Journey from Mourning to Joy; DivorceCare: Hope, Help, and Healing During and After Your Divorce; and Grieving with Hope: Finding Comfort As You Journey Through Loss. These books correlate with the insights and counsel presented in Church Initiative's support group programs, found in over 20,000 churches around the world (www.churchinitiative.org). Kathy and her husband, Tim, live in Palmyra, Virginia, and have three children. Kathy enjoys reading, cooking, dancing, and spending time with family and friends.
