Kenneth R. McClelland is a devoted Christian, husband, father, grandfather, former Girl Scout Leader, and former volunteer with the Florida Children’s Home Society. Ken has written many news commentaries, been a guest speaker on various radio programs, and has received many awards for his poetry which has been featured in literary magazines. A current member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers & Illustrators and the Florida Writer's Association, he's written several books across a broad spectrum of genres, including a how to guide for making your water heater last longer, another about preparing for a deadly virus outbreak, an award winning historical fiction novel about a slave named Kimbo, children's picture books, a young adult fairy tale, a multicultural educational book, and several helpful journals on varying topics.
