Kevin’s short fiction has been translated into multiple languages, he’s sold screenplays and, most importantly, guards the recipe for the world’s greatest Bloody Mary. Having majored in history, his path took an unexpected turn his senior year when he began tending bar at the local bucket of blood. The vital lesson he learned, both in bar life and as a writer, is that everyone is a hero in their own story. That helped him to anticipate the actions of dangerous men in bars, get in the heads of even the minor characters in fiction, and understand the actions of witnesses and suspects in criminal cases. Having co-founded a group of sleuths…including former law enforcement officers, authors and lawyers…that looks into cold cases, he welcomes theories, suggestions and especially tips.
