Kevin Morosky is a multidisciplinary creative, film auteur and Virgo. Kevin’s career began in film photography, with his work seeing him published in the likes of Dazed, ID, and Vogue - to name just a few. In short, if you bought mags in the early ‘10s, you probably saw his photos inside. Aware of the fact that he was often brought onto advertising projects as a diversity hire - with little say in the actual content he was shooting - Kevin worked to get on the other side of the industry. He quickly became a creative known for pursuing authentic, often humorous, storytelling that felt inclusive and insightful, challenging the norms of the industry. His dedication to the culture led to him co-founding Pocc (People of Culture Collective) with Nana Bempha in 2018, where he also acts as Chief Creative Officer. Kevin’s commitment to authenticity in advertising led to him being Jury President of the D&AD New Blood Awards 2021. As a film director, Kevin’s portfolio spans both commercial and personal work. He frequently self-directs his ad campaigns, which has seen him work for the likes of Samsung, O2, Vodafone, and Lush. Recent personal works include the award-winning short films Spun and Bruce (featured on Channel 4’s ‘Random Acts’ series), and the self-financed More Time, co-created with Kevin’s creative partner Tom Dunn. Kevin and Tom were also part of the inaugural NFTS x Star Imagine UK film scheme, which saw their short Gently premiere at the London Film Festival 2023. In 2021, Kevin self-published his poetry book Notes, a queer Black South London love story. His latest book, Black Women Always (published by Harper Collins) is out in March 2024.
