Kevin C. O’Leary is a journalist and political scientist. A research fellow at the Center of the Study of Democracy at the University of California, Irvine and professor in the Political Science Department at Chapman University, he is a contributor to The American Prospect. As a journalist, he was the lead West Coast reporter for TIME, a reporter for the Los Angeles Times, editor of OC Metro magazine and editorial page editor of the Pasadena Star-News. A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of UCLA, he was a CORO Fellow before earning his Ph.D. at Yale.
