Born and raised in the south, I am truly a Girl Raised In the South (G.R.I.T.S.) and all that entails. During the day I am an English teacher for people who complain loudly about how much I make them write. At night, I spend entirely too much time talking to myself in different people's voices. I live in Florida and when it’s really nice outside I get to move to my porch and sit in the sun watching people pass by as I try to make my characters follow directions. They rarely do.
