First Place in Science Fiction. In the Garden of Mistress Bloom, by Cle Curbo, pen name of L. Paul Turner. On Dec. 16, 2021, I received an email from Moriah Richard, Managing Editor of Writer's Digest which read: Your book, "In the Garden of Mistress Bloom," has been awarded First Place in Science Fiction category for the Writer's Digest Self-Published E-book Awards. Is The Space Trade a sideways path? The true path of the future is found as each reader grows in joy and interest as their favorite character investigates the beauty and the beast of the cosmos ahead of us. So I'm writing again as Cle Curbo in the new Folio Fence series. Folio lives in the realm of space described in The Space Trade and The Space Trade Update. Of course, Folio travels in a spinship, and future Space Trade books will describe ship construction in orbit, and how community in space warps our species.
