Lara Hale was born in the Dominican Republic in 1988 and moved to Puerto Rico in 2003. She was a resident in Puerto Rico until 2014, when she moved to Michigan, US; the latter being her current place of residency. Lara loves everything fitness related and 'animal rights' is her favorite topic—She is devoted to spreading the message that all animals deserve to live and breathe happily. Lara discovered her passion for writing, after a back injury in 2018 that limited the activities she could do as a 'hobby.' It was then when she began to share her stories in an interactive app and completed ten highly rated TapTales, including her first published book—Not So Straight. Lara has five pets.
