Lefki Karantoni is a bestselling, award winning author. She has been fascinated by words for as long as she can remember, forever trying to pin down the ideas swimming about in her mind and turn them into stories worth sharing. She lives in England now, has travelled widely, but remains unshakeably Greek at heart. That heritage colours everything she writes: coastal settings, sunlit islands, small American towns, and the stunning English countryside. She moves restlessly across genres, guided by a love of language and a weakness for Jane Austen, whom she considers, without apology, a genius. One of these days she will publish her crime novel, or so she says. Lefki earned the KDP Select All Stars bonus for Mr Darcy's New Year's Resolution in January 2026. She won the RISCS Short Story Competition 2026, hosted by the University of Bristol. She won the Story Unlikely Short Story Contest 2026.
