Lehi Wayman of historical fiction. He is the author of historical fiction novels such as The Saint of the Rose and The Brothers of the Holy Chamber. Writing was always my dream. All throughout my high school years I paid more attention to jotting down rough drafts rather than doing homework. My original interest in writing was fantasy. All though enjoy the subject and am still open to exploring it, recent personal events in my life spiraled me toward historical fiction: not simply for the countless exciting adventures I could extract from it, but mostly because of the rich complexities of human behavior and human struggle that one will find recorded there. The death of my father and a few close friends showed me that I was no different. In my novels, I feel compelled to tell stories of the internal human struggles that will hopefully help others like me who have suffered.
