Linda Barrett writes mainly short stories and has been published in magazines in Australia and the U.K. She has also donated stories to charity anthologies. Coffee Break Reads came about when she and friend and co-writer, Rob Nisbet, decided to self publish a collection of their short stories together. She is currently working on her first novel and a biography of a musician friend of hers. Linda has lived in various parts of the U.K. and in Germany. She now lives in Southport. She has been widowed since 2010 when her husband, John, who she met whilst they were both serving in the RAF in the '70s, sadly passed away. She has two stepdaughters and four step grandchildren.
