Linda Sands is the author of five novels in four genres under three publishers and even though that sounds like an unsolvable math problem, she believes one day her writing will pay for the extra-large bag of 5-Way Scratch that her chickens love. Her short stories, flash fiction and essays have appeared in The AJC, The Walton Sun, Skirt Magazine, The Best of the North Georgia Mountains newspaper, small press anthologies and numerous defunct online lit magazines. She's won some awards— that you've probably never heard of —like the Silver Falchion and the GAYA (Georgia Author of the Year). One came with a sword, the other was inscribed on a glass banana bowl that looks more like a container for trifle. Both seem particularly fitting. Linda loves to hear from readers and writers who are not the creepy stalky kind of folks that end up dead on the pages of her books.
