M. D. Frye is a Louisiana native. She grew up in a small, college town where she still resides with her family. As a child. M. D. Frye knew she wanted to be a teacher and has earned her Bachelor's Degree in Early Elementary Education. When she's not in the classroom, you might find her swinging on the front porch or at the lake with friends and family. You might be thinking...if she's a teacher, why is she writing? Well, one of M. D.'s childhood dreams was to become an author. Between work and family, she could never find the time to write. One day a virus shut down her education world giving M. D. an abundance of time on her hands, so within a few months of being home, a book was born. M. D. Frye is not your average author. She writes what most [women] are thinking but might not say out loud. She doesn't have a prestigious degree in journalism, and she's perfectly fine with that because she feels it gives her the opportunity to show readers what real women are like behind the makeup and forced smiles.
