During the 80s and 90s, Mandy worked as a costume designer and stylist for artists such as David Bowie, Madonna, Tina Turner, George Michael, and Billy Idol. She’s taught art and costume design to middle-school and high school students, written blogs for the Huffington Post, and traveled the globe before settling for a while in London and later, California. These days she’s happiest when researching and writing creative non-fiction, and fictional dark tales drenched in magic, the occult, and complex characters of the human and supernatural kind. She writes about the darkness lurking around us and the light that keeps it at bay.
