Manuel Arduino Pavón, was born in Montevideo in 1955. He currently resides in Buenos Aires. He studied Literature at the University of the Republic of his country. Since 1979 he has published more than seventy works in Uruguay, Argentina, Spain, Mexico, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Holland, Canada and the USA. Except for Dramaturgy, he tries everything: essay (esoteric), aphoristic, narrative, miscellaneous works and poetry. His main quality is versatility, which allows him to roam through such antagonistic territories and feel at ease in all of them. A natural inclination to literary experimentation accompanies him from the first years in the trade, but the years of his life allow him to attenuate or pronounce those raucous features according to the circumstances. Almost all of his work has been published outside his country. Editorial Alvi Books dedicated this space to him on Amazon in 2014 as a tribute and recognition.
