Growing up bilingual near Krakow, Poland, Mariusz writes his novels in German and translates them into Polish and English himself. His narrative style blends scientific curiosity with philosophical depth — exploring what constitutes the innermost essence of being human. When he's not writing, he runs a successful business in the planning and construction industry. He lives with his wife and two sons in southern Poland.
