My book is an initiation into a life of Play. It is the Play of a mature adult who embodies the Playfulness of the universe in its many expressions of paradox, synchronicities, humor, and being in the zone. It will encourage you to take the plunge into the unknown and mystery of your own life where every action becomes an effortless, appropriate response to whatever life brings you. Evolve along with me as I leave a small coal-mining town in central Pennsylvania to study with many of the most famous spiritual teachers of this century. I mostly studied and traveled in China and Tibet and ended up in a Daoist center for ten years in the wild and dangerous hills of Malibu, California. The numerous jaw-dropping global synchronicities that happened to me are inspiring and the knowledge I gleaned over the past 50 years from my Vedanta, Buddhist, and Taoist teachers is rare. This book is also funny as hell if I don't say so myself. So, join a cosmic court jester as I meander my way to a life of Play.
