Mark Miyashiro is a retired TV Broadcaster living in Kaneohe, Hawaii. He is an author of fiction, "Olympic Grill". He spent 20 yrs, working for TV Stations: KGMB-TV (CBS) KITV (ABC) KHON (NBC) KHAI-TV , KIKU-TV (IND), as well as being a Radio DJ. He is married and has two daughters and two grandchildren. He is currently writing another fictional novel called KZOU-TV, set in the year 1977 in Honolulu, Hawaii. His work of the local town of Honolulu and the various ethnic groups that live there in Hawaii. Olympic Grill is about the multi-ethnic people thus the name Olympic, and there are numerous Grills in Honolulu. Mark himself suffers from a mental illness but that does not prevent him from expressing himself. The many characters in the book are of Hebrew origin thus a influence of the Jewish flavor. I do believe the reader will enjoy the joyful as well as the sad parts of this book. Recently Mark became a Rabbi at Beth-Israel Messianic Honolulu, and is writing a new book "Paper Terrorist" his 13 year battle with the IRS.
