Mark Packard is Associate Professor of Management, Research Director of the Madden Center for Value Creation, and Harry T. Mangurian Fellow of the Phil Smith Center for Free Enterprise at Florida Atlantic University. He obtained his PhD from the University of Missouri in 2016 with a research focus on the theory of entrepreneurship. His research focuses particularly on the philosophical foundations of entrepreneurship theory. He is the author of more than 40 peer-reviewed academic articles on topics ranging from uncertainty and judgment to value, innovation, empathy, and more. He is also author of Entrepreneurial Valuation and coauthor of Venture Mode.
