Mark Skilton is Professor of Practice in Information Systems and Management at Warwick Business School and a Digital Expert. With over 20 years' experience in information technology in many commercial and public sector businesses, he specializes in helping companies realize their business value, covering Artificial Intelligence, Virtual and Augmented Reality, Internet of Things, Robotics, Analytics, Cyber Security, Blockchain and transformational business strategies. His current strategic work includes international advisory of artificial intelligence and digital impact in the world media, and impact practice of AI in leading public and private organizations. He is a frequent global traveler and is active in global grand challenges including climate change and energy and particular interest and presence in San Francisco and Bay Area West Coast innovation and immerging technologies start-ups. He has worked with some of the top global international companies at board level to realize their vision of digital operating models across their complete technology landscapes. Mark is currently Senior Executive practice leader for Digital Strategy at Enzen Global, a specialist Energy Consultancy. Prior to that, he was a Digital Leader at PA Consulting and a Global Director of Strategy at Capgemini. Previously, Mark was European CTO of Services outsourcing and strategic technology consulting solutions at CSC. He has been Head of Digital business analysis at BskyB TV and Media company; lead business re-engineering engagements at KPMG Consulting and worked in transforming the Business and IT of companies in over 25 countries worldwide.
