Matt Nettesheim is a Bible-believing pastor, husband to Mandy, and father of twelve. He pastors Chesapeake Baptist Church in Virginia and is the founder of BibleBelievingPublications. At age nineteen, while serving in the U.S. Navy, Matt trusted Christ as his Saviour after hearing The Bible Way to Heaven—a moment that forever changed his life and direction. His first book, To Train Up a Child: A Bible-Believer’s Guide to Child Training, draws from over two decades of real-life parenting experience in a King James Bible–believing Christian home. Through personal stories, practical instruction, and clear biblical principles, Matt equips parents to train their children with love, discipline, and devotion. Whether guiding toddlers to obey right away, helping teens toward godly courtship, or starting fresh after past mistakes, Matt’s passion is to help parents raise children who love and live for the Lord. He writes with a shepherd’s heart, encouraging families to build homes grounded in God’s truth and filled with the joy of serving Him together. Matt and Mandy are faithfully training their twelve children to love the Lord and serve Him gladly. Through preaching, writing, and family discipleship, they are committed to helping others do the same.
