Maureen Wilkinson has almost 30 years of experience working with autistic children and raising her own autistic son. Her expertise lies both in education as a qulified teacher for primary, secondary, and special schools in addition to extensive experience with a variety of therapists raising her own son, including ABA, CBT, OT, SLT, and Social Integration Therapists. Her motivation is fuelled by sharing knowledge and making positive contributions to improving family relationships and home environments. She has recently emigrated to Australia, with her 2 sons and daughter, although has lived and worked with autistic children and teens in the United States and the UK. She loves horticulture and has recently started a gardening club for autistic teenagers.
