Greetings to you, Reader Dearest! It's Mez Blume here. You already know me as the author of the Katie Watson books, among others. Here are just a few tidbits you may not know about me, though... 1. My favourite Birthday dinner is... Pumpkin Pancakes! 2. I am both American and British. American by birth. The British bit came later. But I love both of my home countries and feel quite at home in both. 3. I am simply nuts about dogs. I love them all, but, of course, mine is the best. His name is Hugo the Jack Russell Terrier, a descendant of Bothy (the explorer Ranulph Fiennes' JRT, 1st dog to travel to both the North and South Poles! ... at least we imagine Hugo is his descendant. He has the same adventurous spirit). 4. I believe books are one of the most extraordinary, magical blessings we humans have been given.
