Born in April 1977 in Lower Austria, he studied philosophy, cultural and social anthropology and has travelled to many parts of the world. The foundation of a family has recently slowed his passion for travel somewhat. He is interested in all things – even in such an unthinkable thing as the truth –, and he writes from the deepest conviction, above all stories for children. Michael Beisteiner is a member of the PEN-Club. He lives and works as an independent author in Vienna and Serbia.
