I was born and raised in Dallas, TX, which is where I still reside to this day. Growing up, I was a big fan of reading just about anything that was fiction. From an early age I enjoyed reading mystery books, especially teen fiction such as Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys. One of my earliest memories in said genre's is a book titled Wait Till Helen Comes. It is by far one of my favorite books and even to this day if I see copies of it in a book store I pick them up. As I grew older I enjoyed reading C.S. Lewis and Roald Dahl, as both men gave a sense of enlightenment and freedom in their works. Anything by C.S. Lewis is automatically considered brilliant in my mind, and Roald Dahl's simplistic, yet quirky writing is something I still live for even as an adult. Steven James, Patricia Cornwell, Ted Dekker (though I have not read a lot of his stuff), Terry Brooks, Robert Jordan, and even Tolkien all reside in my personal collection of books. As for me, well, I enjoy writing poetry more than anything else, though I think my way with words tend to startle some people when they read my poems. Perhaps it was all of my years reading Poe's short stories and poems, along with Hemingway and Longfellow and the like. After much thought I decided to start writing novels. Granted, my very first novel, Dwarf, was quite shorter than expected, but the second book in the series is quite longer than the average book. I truly hope everyone enjoy reading what I have put forth, as I do it for the enjoyment of writing. Most people couldn't spend a day in my mind without going insane and so I hope that by putting some of things in my head to paper, you'll better understand not only myself, but you'll fall into a world of dangerous adventure; and you'll love every moment of it.
