Michael is currently a partner with Chartwell Capital providing investment management services and is planning to continue his role there as well as expand his involvement in providing investment advice and consulting services in the collectible investment field. He is an active investor in the collectible space across most of the major platforms. Previously, he was a partner with Capricorn Partners, delivering a range of risk management, portfolio review and data analysis solutions to premier players in the financial industry. Over the last 25 years he held a variety of roles that allowed him to gain an appreciation of the art of investing from multiple angles: launching two hedge funds in alternative fixed income space, actively managing assets across multiple strategies, creating portfolio evaluation tools, implementing asset allocation and portfolio construction programs for multiple for UHNW families, and serving as a trusted advisor to top US and global financial players. Michael holds a B.S in Economics from Wharton School of Business and an MBA from Columbia University Business School. He is also a holder of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) and Financial Risk Manager (FRM) designations. His hobbies, apart from his passion for collectibles, include travel, poker, scuba diving, playing guitar and writing poetry.
