Michael Vlasek creates books, songs, and laughter in Reno, NV. His passions include his three children, his beautiful wife and her rambunctious Shiba Inus, hiking, photography, and exploring the world. Now, after twenty years of coaching baseball and basketball and teaching middle school students, who fondly called him "Mr. Pickle," he is finally listening to the voices who have asked him to share his humorous and adventuresome imagination by publishing the novels he wrote to keep his sanity in those hectic but fun days before his retirement. He is currently working as a basketball referee and on developing the exciting Key series.
