When I was in the middle of researching this book, I got the original idea of igniting Jupiter into a 2nd Sun. The more my characters got closer to the ignition date in 3003 A.D., the more I realized that I had created an event in the science fiction world that could become a fact of life in the very near future if we all put our minds to it. To that end - I immediately followed up with 'The Jupiter Sun - The Greatest Achievement in Human History. This book non-fiction is a detailed blueprint for how we can actually ignite Jupiter into the sun it was always meant to be and thereby enjoy twice as much Solar Power as we are currently getting or ever will get from our one and only sun - which translates into a reversal of Global Warming and saves our planet from the current rush to extinction we are now pursuing.
