Michael Yowell (1969 - ) is an American horror author who was born in Colorado and now resides in South Carolina. His stories have been published in e-zines and print anthologies (WRITING SHIFT, SANITARIUM, THIRTEEN, and BLOOD, BRAINS & BULLETS). His works include the haunted-house novel DEVILHOUSE, his short-story collections FRAGMENTS AND SHARDS and FRAGMENTS AND SHARDS II, the creepy killer-vs-anchorwoman novel THE CAMERA EYE, the werewolf-hunter novels THE DOGCATCHER, THE DOGCATCHER II: CHUPACABRAS, and THE DOGCATCHER III: WEREWOLF QUEEN, the sea-monsters trilogy SLIGGERS. SLIGGER ISLAND, and SLIGGER INVASION, the terrifying GHOSTFIELD, the creature-feature PIRANTULAS, the macabre A TOUCH OF DEATH, and his epic Western (yes, Western) RED PINES.
