Michelle Sandlin is a bestselling author and award-winning writer whose work spans memoir, poetry, and personal reflection. Her writing has been featured in leading publications, including the Houston Chronicle where she penned a weekly column for more than seven years, the Houston Business Journal, and Mobility Magazine.

In 2021, Michelle was diagnosed with breast cancer, a life-changing event that reshaped her life and her work. That journey became the foundation of her bestselling memoir Cancer Don’t Care, a raw yet uplifting story of resilience, humor, and hope.

Michelle’s upcoming book Words of Rhythm is a deeply personal collection of poetry and reflection that continues her exploration of life’s most meaningful themes.

Originally from Shreveport, Louisiana, Michelle earned her BA in Journalism from the University of Houston. She now lives in Houston, where she divides her time between writing, fitness, and family.
