"To me, there's nothing better than understanding motives and backstories that drive actions. When I craft characters within a story, their histories have to be rich, their emotions have to raw, and their struggles have to be real. I love it when readers ask for more to a story you think you've wrapped up. That is what makes writing enjoyable for me."

Milo Hays' career has been spent telling stories to move emotions. As a fundraising consultant, he worked with wonderful non-profits to verbalize their amazing stories and visions to motivate extraordinary levels of giving. As a business entrepreneur, he used storytelling to sell visions for investment as well as to market products and services. One key overlap of both is drilling into the emotional elements of a cause to verbalize it in a manner that touches people and motivates them to give generously, invest, and/or buy. Milo Hays stories are built to exude that same touch where the reader becomes emotionally connected to love, hate, cheer on, and/or cast aside key characters in the stories being told.
