Molly Synthia grew up in a very small town. Until she got to college in the big city, she'd led a fairly sheltered life. In college she began writing. Since she was working on a double major of English and Anthropological Linguistic Sciences, she experimented on character-driven stories with a cultural twist. Her studies also revealed to her the variety of sexual tastes and desires out there, and her focus soon shifted to erotica and erotic romance.

"I write erotica for my audience. It's that simple. Some of my stories are geared toward men, and some are geared toward women. I write some that are intended for couples to read together. My characters are all real in one way or another, but they're not all based on actual experiences. I wrote one story about a woman in a foursome who was completely inexperienced before that. She was based on a girl home from college visiting my neighbor. The girl was real, but for all I know, she could still be the innocent virgin. I hope not!"
